Dining in the Clubhouse
The restaurant is open all day for snacks and meals which can be eaten either in the bar or the restaurant, which overlooks the 18th green and lake, providing a beautiful setting with a relaxed atmosphere.
The catering is a family business, run by Jane Nott, who has developed an excellent catering reputation providing home cooked food made with local produce. You are assured of a warm welcome from Jane and her team.
More formal evening dinners can also be catered for if booked in advance.
The Bar
The bar, ably run by our Bar Supervisor, Abby Gowing, offers you a variety of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks:

Cask Ale: Sharp’s Doom Bar
Cider: Stowford Press
A range of reasonably priced wines from around the world are available either by the glass or the bottle. Please ask to see our wine list.
Wifi
A Wi-Fi internet connection is installed in the clubhouse. This is available for use of members and guests in the clubhouse. There is no charge for this service. Please ask at the bar for the access code.
Social Events
Downes Crediton Golf Club offer catering for both members and their guests, as well as outside functions – corporate parties, social events, conferences, anniversaries, and birthdays.
Why not choose from the extensive range of speciality cakes for every occasion from our caterer? eg Anniversary, Birthday, Christening and Wedding Cakes are available. The cakes are also available to order for ‘takeaway’, if you are not holding your function here.

Dress Code
We pride ourselves on a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Therefore there is no requirement to wear ‘smart’ or ‘golf’ wear in the clubhouse – jeans, trainers etc are allowed. (not on the course however)
